„Spacegress" is a mission series for people with very healthy feet, or good biking skills. ( Some kind of madness will help)
Biking within the center of Linz or in the castle is not really funny during normal „shopping“ weekdays. On the other hand I would have been happy if I had used a bike, afterwards!
There are so many missions outside the center with long distances between the missions and portals that a bike is highly recommended.
As I mentioned I did it by feet only, within 2 days. Unfortunately after 3 h and 19 km it started to rain on the first day and so I decided to postpone the rest of the mission. The next day I had to walk 41 km (12 h) and also used the public transportation! In sum 60 km (said the scanner) and approximately 15 h mission time without breaks. My resting time was around 1 h. The good thing is, Mission 21 leads you directly to the cafe Jindrak (Herrengasse) - famous for the original „Linzer Torte“ - a good opportunity to stop and have a coffee and a piece of cake - it is worth to do so.
Mission 81 leads you to „Südbahnhof Markt“ where another Jindrak coffee house is located - another good spot for a break.
The guidance, lets say, has some development potentialities.
Very often you will be send forth and back or the is way with a gate - locked - so there are additional 700 m for the scanner and some other surprises more.
The mission picture looks nice and impressive, almost all of the visited portals are unique and you will be guided into areas of Linz you normally do not go, because there are no banners. I am also not sure if the banner can be done in 24/7 , for me it looked so but I wound not swear.
